I asked previously about fitting my spare Porsche d90's on an Alpine and it is possible, but I've costed the adaptors and it works out about the same price as some new tyres for the current standard Alpine wheels.... So which should I go for?
The d90's are the same width as the Alpine wheels, but 16" compared to 15"

Can't see it costing that much for spacers .I've had a few specials made for reasonable money .

The adaptors/spacers I've seen work out at about £120 for a set inc bolts, but I only need 2 tyres for the Alpine rims, so it works out about the same price.
If you can get some made up cheaper please let me know Wink

They're actually VW adaptors they'll machine to Renault centre bore.

Those are the wheels (sort of) those are 7's and 8.5's on my old 944, I also have some 6" wide one which I'd use on front of the GTA.

Ebay link to adaptors - I emailed these guys a few weeks ago and they said no probs to machine them for Renaultc/b.

There should be no problem fitting these wheels on those adaptors as the wheels are 16" diameter, 6" and 8.5" wide with offset of 53 - with 20mm adaptors = offset 33. Which apart from being 1" bigger is pretty close to the ones on the car ... Please correct me if I've got this wrong.

When I went to Belgium last year for that dodgy world record attempt there was a GTA with Porsche 911 wheels on ( can't find the picture ). I did have a set but decided to sell them to sponsor purchase of A610 spider wheels.

Look on German ebay they do adaptors cheap Wink
